UNIF Leopard Print Hellbounds

So I recently got my hands on the UNIF Leopard Print Hellbounds... uummmhummm honey boo boo yes I did! I ordered these shoes back in January whilst Nasty Gal were having an incredible sale, and I most definitely got myself a big ol' bargain! I paid £63.86 ($100.50) + £9.53 ($15.00) shipping, and considering these shoes were originally around £160 ($245) I basically paid less than half price for them... THAT.SHIT.CRAY! There wasn't even one split second where I thought to myself 'hmmm... can you actually afford them? What about the tax charges? Do you really need another pair of heels?' instinct just took over, and before I knew it I had the order confirmation in my inbox. I'm not gonna lie I am a pretty impulsive buyer/person, but the reason I was so eager to get my hands on them was because I had literally wanted these shoes since I first saw Christeric wearing them on her blog. I yearned for the black pair with the multi-coloured laces so bad, but then when it came to actually being able to get them as a Christmas prezzie you couldn't get them for love nor money! Waaaaahhh!

These specific leopard print ones were only made available on Nasty Gal, although there are another darker pair of leopard ones you can buy from other retailers. Hellbounds are like gold dust at the minute; as soon as they're restocked they sell out, so i'm super happy I got my hands on a pair. They might look really scary & stupidly high at first, but I was shocked at how comfortable they are. I think the comfort is due to the platform (3") & chunky heel (6"), as they feel really sturdy. My foot sits in them at the perfect angle which is always good, as I have a pair of JC Damsels that destroy my feet due to the awkward practically vertical position my poor feet get put in. Size wise I went for the UK5 (US8) which is my standard shoe size. These shoes run true to size, which I was happy about when I received them, as there's nothing worse than ordering shoes from overseas & then discovering they don't fit you! Unfortunately for some they don't run in half-sizes, so if you're an inbetweeny it will mean going up or down a size. My advice would probably be to go up a size as they aren't very roomy, and I don't imagine they'll stretch too much either... but don't hold me to that.

Now don't get it twisted I love Jeffrey Campbell shoes, I got my first pair of JC boots waayyy back in about 2007/8 when I was at Uni from Urban Outfitters & they served me well, I wore them until they had holes in the soles (unintentionally spittin' bars)... but these UNIF Hellbounds honestly do shit all over my Litas, there is just no comparison whatsoever! When I first bought my Lita's they felt ridiculously high, so it just goes to show how used to things you become. Now I have my Hellbounds my Lita's feel like absolute kitten heels.

I have a shoe unboxing & review over on my YouTube channel too...

I wore these shoes out last night; rather intoxicated with a belly full of cava & cocktails and I didn't fall over once! They were really comfortable, and easy to dance in too.

I'm definitely bound for hell these days (metaphorically speaking of course), i've sold my soul/sole (hehe!) to UNIF for a pair of badass heels!

I hope this has helped you out if you're thinking about joying me in hell!

Lorra love,
Carmen xxx
