The Script Live & OOTN With Barclaycard Unwind

I was lucky enough to see The Script live at the Birmingham LG Arena on Saturday night thanks to my blogging buddy Chloe, and Barclaycard Unwind. They're not normally a band I would make the effort to go see, although I did discover I know a lot more of their music than I previously thought I did! My opinion of them has completely changed after seeing them live though... they were AMAZING! The vocals were unbelievable - it was just like listening to one of their records on the radio! The visuals were fantastic as well, I was blown away by them! It's always great to go to a gig where you're not only taken on a musical journey, but also a visual one too. It didn't deter from the music at all either, it just added that little something extra! I was totes swooning over Danny O'Donoghue too... what an absolute ride that man is! ;)

So I guess you're probably wondering why we got to go see The Script courtesy of Barclaycard... well it's all part of a new campaign they're launching where they want bloggers to take pictures of their most 'show-stoppingly awesome' outfits & blog about it. I personally think it's a fab idea... I love a good challenge, and even more so if it's fashion related! :) I decided to go for a pretty casual rock-chick inspired outfit. I tend to dress for my mood, and I fancied being a bit grunge that day; so I went all out princess of darkness with a vampy lip. I've had the tie-dye dress in my wardrobe for a couple of years, but i've just never found the right opportunity to wear it. I thought a gig would be the perfect time to get it out, as it's a great piece for layering over a crop top. I went for my trusty faux-leather trousers on the bottom, and comfy Topshop boots as I knew we would be doing a bit of dancing! Jewellery wise I opted for one of my fave necklaces, and lots of silver rings... the more rings the better in my opinion!

Some close-up shots of my outfit & accessories (sorry I didn't have time to paint my stumpy nails... try not to judge me bbz).

Jacket: Levi's Vintage | Button Badges: Tattoo Artist Abbie Williams (@horrorgirl on Instagram) | Tie-Dye Dress: ASOS | Bralet: Urban Outfitters | Faux-Leather Trousers: Topshop | Boots: Topshop Adonis2 | Necklace: eBay | Rings: Vicki Marks & Shop Dixi | Glasses: American Apparel Vintage | Lipstick: MAC Violetta

These were some of the amazing visuals I was referring to...

Some really cool photographs I took when everyone had there cameras out for one of their most popular songs...

Another big thank you to Barclaycard Unwind for opening my ears to a band I wouldn't normally listen to, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and would love to be involved in this campaign in the future! :)
