Test Card F

Shirt: Vintage | Faux Leather Trousers: Topshop | Shoes: Lazy Oaf x Kickers | Glasses: Vintage | Lipstick: NARS Schiap

Hey bbz!

This is the outfit I wore to the Gogo Philip x Malibu 1992 launch party (see previous blog post for more info on the new collection). I mentioned in my latest vlog that I got quite a few funny looks wearing this in Birmz, which is kind of understandable considering how bright and in yo' face my shirt is, but that didn't stop me giving them evils back! Muhahaha! I call it my 'Test Card F' shirt, as it reminds me of the image the BBC used to show way back in the day when there were no programmes being broadcast, with the little girl playing noughts & crosses and that scary clown doll (see picture below). I absolutely love it and I think I only paid a couple of quid for it a few years ago from a pop-up vintage store... i'm aware it's more on the garish side and not to everyones taste though. My boyfriend absolutely hates it but that makes me want to wear it all the more! GIRL POWER!!! Hehe! I wore it with my faux leather trousers, vintage levi jacket and my new fave shoes - my Lazy Oaf Kickers! They're me in shoe form... glittery, multi-coloured, unicorn hooves! What's not to love?! :) I'm dying to get my hands on the black glittery pair too, but I can't quite justify another hundred on glittery shoes at the mo' unfortunately :( I honestly spend my wages like monopoly money and I definitely need to be more thrifty since i've just quit my full-time job to take up an internship with Claire's Accessories! Eeekk! How exciting though, I start in mid-June and cannot wait! I've loved Claire's since I was a wee bairn and I still buy a lot of my jewellery & accessories from there. They're such a well-established, reputable brand and I couldn't be happier to be interning with them! :)

RAP GAME, GOLDEN PALMS, SPRING BREAK

I was recently invited to the Gogo Philip X Malibu 1992 'Golden Palm' jewellery collection launch where none other than the Freaky Prince$$ herself, Brooke Candy, performed some of her most explicit tracks to an intimate audience at the Gogo Philip showroom. I had a fabulous night sippin' on champaz & drooling over all of the bling bling! My stylespiration/hairspiration Soki Mak was also at the event but I was too shy to go and chat to her... she looked incredible as per usual!!

Ohhh haaaiii guyyys! This is an outfit I wore a few weeks back for a night on the town with my gyals, it was one of those rare days where the sun actually had his hat on (hip-hip-hip-hooray!) so I took it as an opportunity to wear this gorgeous Mink Pink swimsuit/leotard that I purchased from the lovely Lucy aka Lulutrixabelle (i'm sure you're all aware of her here in the blogosphere). She has her own online vintage clothing store called Meow Meow and when I saw she was selling this little gem I had to make mine!!! I actually had heart palpitations trying to order it, panicking that someone was going to snatch it up before me. It fits my little tittays perfectly :) One of the only reasons i'm quite content with my little bee stings is that I can wear things like this and not have to worry about any 'spillage'! The pattern, colours and gold detailing on the straps are just gorgeous - i'm so in love with it! It's definitely coming with me to Glasto! :)
